Watch This Video For Your Health

Users are watching Health video startup HealthiNation’s videos from start to finish. But that’s not all: Users are also watching the preroll ads. “HealthiNation's viewability rate for preroll ads is 78 percent, well above the industry standard of 43 percent,” Vice President of Sales Larry Klein said. With an average 32 million monthly viewers and a sleek redesign on the way this summer, HealthiNation is looking to be a major player in the online video sweepstakes.

Lost and Found

Traveling has its ups and downs, but Delta is ready to make it a little bit less dreadful. The airline has developed a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tracking system that will send a notification about the location of your baggage to your cell phone. When the app is released, Delta will be the first U.S airline to offer a real-time luggage tracking to its customers. Now, that’s a reason to book a vacation, isn’t it?

Up Periscope!

Periscope is going down a different path. This week the live video broadcast app announced several fresh features, including a new, improved search function. Users will be able to search keywords of hashtagged topics to find related broadcasts. Also the First Scope feature will offer new users a walkthrough of how to use the app. They also will be able to live stream using a GoPro or Drone. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to Periscope while using a Drone/GoPro?

Occupation: Influencer

“Influencers” – how many times do you hear that word each day? We’re sure you know a little bit about these well known, “on brand” humans with tens of thousands of eager online followers. But are they all that? The relationships between brands, agencies and influencers are starting to become a bit sticky. “We threw too much money at them and did it too quickly,” an anonymous social media exec told Digiday. “So in 2014, they were making $500 to show up and take some photos. Then it became $1,500. Now it’s hundreds of thousands of dollars. They no longer value their art.” How do you feel about influencers? Shoot us a tweet with your feelings - @turnerpr. We’d love to hear your feedback.
