Located in The Bahamas just 50 miles east of Miami,
Resorts World Bimini recently unveiled plans for its new beach club, which will open its doors in April 2020. An inspired collab with Virgin Voyages, the new island hot spot will deliver the luxury of a premium beach club and resort. Additionally, all Virgin Voyages cruises itineraries will feature a stop at Bimini, Bahamas for guests to enjoy the new beach club starting next year. Guests will enjoy a full-scale party atmosphere at night, local cuisine and enhanced access to aquatic adventures. The new beach club will also offer a blend of spa-style treatments and services like yoga and meditation opportunities.

Sustainability is a major trend in travel – and
Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman is leading the way. Recently, the Seafire team has joined forces with a local dive company to help replenish the coral in Caribbean waters, launching a program called
Seafire Guardians, whose mission is to protect, develop and regenerate the ocean’s coral reefs. Additionally, the resort weaves sustainability throughout the property, with open-air architecture, meandering gardens, solar panels, eco-friendly materials and modern designs that utilize natural elements to maximize energy efficiency.

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas
The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas reopened in late fall 2019, following a period of extensive enhancements. The all-encompassing $100 million project includes fully reimagined and redesigned public spaces, rooms and suites, event and meeting space, and dining venues inclusive of a new culinary concept. The resort’s 180 guestrooms and suites have been entirely reimagined with a bright and airy design that amplifies the natural beauty of the island, all purposefully facing the Bay to offer guests expansive ocean views. Other new features include a remodeled infinity pool, a new Sicilian restaurant, Alloro, and a new luxury catamaran, the Lady Lynsey II.

welcomes the new all-inclusive, adults-only, all-suite
Barceló Maya Riviera on Dec. 15, 2019. The latest addition to the renowned
Barceló Maya Grand Resort complex, the new resort joins Barceló Maya Palace, Barceló Maya Beach, Barceló Maya Caribe, Barceló Maya Colonial and Barceló Maya Tropical. In December, the resort complex will also unveil Barceló Maya Arena, the largest convention center and meetings inventory in the region. A combined investment of $250 million has been allocated to this expansion project.

Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, Los Cabos has just launched an immersive Elements of Baja experiences focus on key pillars that are essential to the culture and history of the region: Water, Earth, Art and Fire.
