Emojis — those little images used in texting, tweeting and elsewhere on social media — get more and more popular with each passing week. In June, Unicode (the organization that vets emojis) will release 69 new characters, including 34 new people emojis, 13 new food and drink symbols, and six animal and nature figures. Feeling a bit behind when it comes to emojis? No need for a frowny face. ? Here's a quick guide. ? What do these emojis really mean?

#1: The Flushed Face ? Used to show embarrassment for an awkward situation or mistake. “I totally forgot about our meeting!”   #2: The Triumphant Face ? Use this emoji to show pride in your accomplishments. “We rocked that presentation.”   #3: Cold Sweat Face ? Use this emoji to show stress. “I’m going to need more time for this project!”   #4: Person Tipping Hand ? Originally meant to show an information desk person, this one is usually used to show sassiness. “I was flawless.”   #5: Japanese Goblin ?
