TURNER and our partners at the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) won big this week at the 60th Adrian Awards ceremony. Presented by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) at the New York Marriott Marquis, this is the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally – not unlike the Westminster Dog Show of the canine world. This year’s contest attracted more than 1,200 entries from around the world, with entries judged by top executives from all sectors of the industry. [Header photo: Mark Woodward/HSMAI]

TURNER and the BTA beat out a talented, competitive field, securing a Public Relations Platinum Award, which was subsequently awarded the Best of Show distinction for the Bermuda: Finding an Island’s Adventurous Side campaign. The campaign, which repositioned the island as an adventure destination, generated a wide array of top-tier media coverage, supporting tourism growth and attracting a younger generation of travelers. Best of Show Awards are the highest honor in each of the three award categories of the evening. Not too shabby, eh?
We have so many people and partners to thank – but in order to celebrate our
Best of Show, we want to present you with our own TURNER
Best in Show, inspired by our obsessive love of some of the best darn reality TV around (AKA The Westminster Dog Show). These dogs are our inspiration. They help us herd great ideas. They make sure we never hound the media (unless we have a
really great story). They help us to have an amazing working group. And they’re always up for a little sporting around.
TURNER's Best in Show
Greg Mahle from Rescue Road Trips brought Mack to New York. He's from Houston originally, so when he barks, it's his way of saying "Hey Y’all, Hey Y’all!"
Iggy was adopted from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley when she was eight weeks old. She loves long naps, chasing squirrels and belly rubs.
Alexa is on twitter as @alexatheyorkie (and has over 500 followers). She loves to follow pitchfx during a baseball game on an iPad and is trained to bark angrily whenever someone mentions A Rod (Alex Rodriguez of the Yankees).
Clover's nickname is Chunk — which she responds to happily.
Bosco the nine-year-old basset loves AC, sunbathing, and bacon treats but most of all sweets. He's also an aspiring member of the Blues Brothers.
It's Stella the Cavapoo! Rocks are her favorite toys. Her middle name is Belichick, after the Patriot's head coach, naturally.
Even though dogs weren't allowed at the Adrians, Penelope loves to dress up in her gala-worthy finest.
Say hello to Ghost! Fun fact: He is named after Game of Throne's character, Jon Snow's dire wolf.
This is Ziggy. He’s a big fan of the Tulane Green Wave.
Roxy likes to steal socks and hide them in the backyard.
Mismatched but oh-so-adorable: Pomeranian Alfonso and Bernese Mountain Dog Wolgang, out for a stroll.
