Promposals get Snapped

Men’s Wearhouse and Snapchat have teamed up to create a new holiday -- National Promposal Day on Friday, March 11! A custom filter has been created and will span more than 18,000 high schools across the U.S. and Canada to make the important “Will you go to prom with me?” question even more epic -- and probably more nerve-wracking for the kids involved. You can watch the teenage awkwardness unfold at hashtag #NationalPromposalDay.

I Want My PopSugar TV!

PopSugar is one of the strongest brands among female twentysomethings. Z Living is a health and fitness channel that is only available in eight countries. What do they have in common? PopSugar will now produce TV versions of their online health and fitness series, as well as develop a prime time series, exclusively for Z Living. Both brands have similar audiences, but getting those viewers to tune in to something other than a Netflix binge will be the biggest challenge.

Testing… testing …

Facebook is allowing select publishers to test email newsletter sign-up messages at the bottom of their Instant Articles. Just like a lot of changes on Facebook, this is not live for everyone just yet, but bigwigs like The New York Times and Washington Post are taking it for a spin. Facebook Instant is a tool that publishers use to introduce its content to people who aren’t regular readers, and email newsletters remain a great option to maintain direct relationships with consumers.
