It's Amazon Prime Time

Move over QVC: there’s a new shopping network in town. This week, Amazon debuted “Style Code Live,” its very own live TV show, hosted by a power trio of Rachel Smith from “Good Morning America,” Lyndsey Rodrigues from MTV and Frankie Grande, Broadway star and older brother of the pop star Ariana Grande. This show features hosts and their guests sharing tips and tricks about fashion and makeup. Taking the impulse-buy concept to a new level, viewers can buy featured products right from the live stream.

Free swag = Best swag

Branded events are increasingly filled with branded swag – who can ever have enough of reusable water bottles and t-shirts? Millennials in particular love to bring home gratis goodies to brag about on Instagram. Check out this awesome infographic to find out what else millennials said about branded events. 1 tab, 1 vacation

This week Google announced Destinations, its first travel search feature – a traveler’s new best friend. Allowing you to search every aspect of a vacation ranging from flight information to itinerary planning, the new feature means that there will be no need to flip through a bunch of tabs. You will now be able to plan a whole vacation on the go, hopefully making your morning commute a little less intolerable. Happy planning, wanderlusts!

Emoji chic is so hot right now

Chanel revealed something new on the runway this week that took us by surprise. Amidst the beautiful luxury fashion, there was an abundance of … cat emojis? Thumbs-up emojis? Yep, Karl Lagerfeld’s latest collection is emoji-crazy. Of course, Karl is not new to the world of social media emblems; there’s even a dedicated app, named emotiKarl, which allows iPhone and Android users to communicate using images of the German design legend. Not sure if we feel ? or ?about that.

Moment of Zen: The Man. The Myth(s). The Legend

This week marked the 19th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.'s death. Or should we say “alleged” death. Srsly tho #RIPBIG #BigPoppa #BiggieSmalls.
