The season of giving is upon us – and Colorado knows how to give. For the past seven years,
Colorado Gives Day has celebrated and increased philanthropy in the state through online giving. The $1 Million Incentive Fund created by the partners is one of the largest gives-day incentive funds in the country. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, December 7, and Colorado Gives has a great website with
listings for a diverse array of nonprofits who need your support. The TURNER team in Denver has our own favorites – here are a few to check out!

Invest in Kids
My favorite Colorado non-profit is
Invest in Kids, an organization that focuses on the specific needs of children in low-income families, with the hope of seeing every child in Colorado thrive. I am part of the YP4Kids group (young professionals branch).

Colorado Fourteeners Initiative
I’m planning to donate to the
Colorado Fourteeners Initiative, a nonprofit that protects, preserves, enhances and restores the natural integrity of Colorado’s 14ers (peaks over 14,000 feet in elevation) through active stewardship and public education. CFI accomplishes its mission through volunteer-based trail construction, maintenance, restoration projects and educational programs.
