Turner Public Relations, Inc. (TPR) is pleased to announce the addition of Waldorf Astoria Park City, a Forbes 4-Star luxury property located in Canyons Resort, to its client roster. The year-round planned residential ski, snowboard and golf resort in Park City, Utah, was looking for a PR team who understood luxury, as well as ski mountain properties, and TPR boasts extensive knowledge of both. TPR will focus on media relations and strategic social media planning for the property.
In a happy coincidence, one of Turner’s newest hires, Senior Account Executive Caitlin Martz, led communications for Canyons Resort in Park City for the past five years, handling media relations, crisis communications, snow reports, social media, and more. A strong writer, Caitlin authored a comprehensive guide to Park City, Salt Lake and Southern Wasatch for Fodor’s Travel. Freshly relocated to Denver, Caitlin will bring her deep knowledge of the resort to Turner’s strategic PR initiatives.
Also joining the TPR team in the agency’s New York City office is Vice President of Tourism Emma de Vadder, who is coming off of six years as managing director with Visit England. Her previous experience includes NYC & Company (New York City’s tourism office), as well as agency work in both the US and UK on a wide variety of hotel, resort, and tourism brands. Emma will be taking the lead on Turner’s Bermuda account, and will lend her tourism industry expertise to other travel accounts.
Adding her extensive SEO and market research skills to TPR’s digital team, Senior Account Supervisor Megan Brown joined the NYC office in April, working heavily on the Bermuda account. Previously with LaForce+Stevens, Megan forecasts trends in the online space for clients across industries, including lifestyle, fashion, sports and travel. She’s adept at creating cross-channel strategies that boost buzz, build loyalty and create relationships in an intentional yet unique way.
