TURNER Is One of OUTSIDE Magazine’s Best Places To Work In 2020

Let’s be honest. 2020 has been challenging. But as always, we’ve found solace in the great outdoors. Which is why it’s especially meaningful this year that TURNER has been selected as one of OUTSIDE Magazine’s Best Places to Work this year.

Every year, OUTSIDE recognizes companies that help their employees strike the perfect blend of work and play. For more than 20 years, that balance has been one of TURNER’s core principles. This year, even with everything changing, the outdoors remained a balm for our souls. From road trips across the west to coastal beauty in Maine, from Colorado’s Rocky Mountains to the pink sand beaches of Bermuda, nature has given us so much and we are filled with gratitude for the outdoors every day.

Below, check out a short video featuring the TURNER team’s recent adventures in the great outdoors.

Why TURNER Made OUTSIDE’s Best Places to Work List

Summer Fridays – Sometimes we like to get into the great outdoors a little early. All summer long, we knock off early on Friday to stretch our weekends into something special.

Outdoor Ideation Workshops – Fresh air leads to fresh ideas. That’s why we get outside and soak up the sun during our regular ideation workshops.

TURNER U – Staying on top of the latest industry trends is key. The TURNER U program keeps us up on the latest industry developments, cutting-edge tools and more. Oh, and occasionally, we just learn about wine.

Paid Volunteer Days – TURNER is serious about giving back. Each employee gets three paid volunteer days each year. Check out some of the organizations we’ve supported.

Amazing Clients – We represent all the places you want to go, and the items you’d pack for your journey. Just take a look at our roster – travel and lifestyle.

Recess – Recess isn’t just for elementary school. TURNER’s recess committee focuses on employee connection and engagement. From trivia contests and silly games to yoga, cocktail classes and holidays, this team makes sure we step away from our laptops for wellness breaks.

Dog-Friendly Offices – When it’s safe to go back to the office, we won’t leave our four-legged friends at home. Yes, we do have an internal Slack channel devoted entirely to dogs.

Craft Beer Kegerator – We can’t wait to get back to the office, so that we can celebrate our OUTSIDE win in person over a few beers.

The complete list of OUTSIDE’s Best Places to Work winners is available at OutsideOnline.com. The Best Companies Group evaluates each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. There’s also an employee survey to measure personal experience. Winners value productivity in combination with an active, eco-conscious lifestyle, for a fulfilling experience inside and outside the office.
