Insta Inspiration

Instagram is still a powerhouse when it comes to inspiring wanderlust. With 1.1 billion users worldwide, the platform’s imagery takes you around the world on your phone. Of course, some travel Instagram accounts are better at this than others. Case in point: Tiny Atlas Quarterly. Outside Magazine is smitten: “[W]hat sets this 146,000-follower account apart is that every image is accompanied by a meaningful personal narrative that highlights the people, places, and stories behind each shot.” Do you have a favorite travel Instagram account? Celebs Go Global

Instagram is also great for keeping track of your favorite celebrities. But it just so happens that those superstar accounts can be great for #travelinspo, too. Forbes has rounded up some of the best celebrity travel accounts that let you follow along to glamorous locales. At the top of the list? Why, Beyoncé, of course. “From her picture-perfect moments with her OG Instagram husband to the most adorable next level snapshots with their entire family, this is as goals as it gets,” writes Isis Briones.

#Trending For Spring

What’s the latest and greatest? Spring travel trends are good for sparking your travel desires, too. This year, Airbnb and Pinterest have teamed up to bring you some of the coolest developments. Travelers are looking for trips that allow them to reconnect with nature in a meaningful way – secluded cabins in the woods, morning meditations in the great outdoors and sustainable experiences. Adventure-themed travel is big, too. People want thrills, whether it’s cliff diving, ziplining or big wave surfing. Finally, travelers want to bring along their four-legged friends this spring. Pet friendly destinations are catching on in a major way.

Transformative Travel

Plush cruises and deluxe beach getaways are spring travel trends that will never go out of style. But increasingly, baby boomers are in search of transformative trips when it comes to luxury travel. In other words, they’re looking for a vacation that will resolve their midlife crises. “I constantly see people wrestling with frustrations that they need to unpack, and they just don’t feel like they have the time,” says Tom Marchant, co-founder of the luxury travel outfit Black Tomato. “There’s nothing wrong with using your travels to recharge on the beach, but they can also be a brilliant vehicle to find those answers to the fundamental questions that we all have.”

Fighting words? Mashable says that seasonal Reese's are better than Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
