TURNER Staff List: Spring Outdoor Adventures

Spring is (almost) here! And as passionate lovers of the outdoors, TURNER’s team already has a full schedule of fresh air activities planned for the upcoming months. Here’s a look at just a few of our spring outdoor adventures.

Scuba Diving in Belize

I finally got my dive certification this year, and I have a “big trip” planned this summer. But before that, I hope to sneak in a long weekend in Belize (at the lovely  Victoria House) this spring to keep my skills fresh. – Angela Berardino

Adirondack Hikes

I’m always on the hunt for my next drivable getaway so excited to check out Lake Caroga Campground located just within the Adirondacks. Excited for new hiking trails along Shaker Mountain Wild Forest and quality R&R lakeside. – Melodie Mendez

Biking Through Portugal

Next month, I’m excited to explore all that the  Alentejo region in Portugal has to offer. I’ll be touring by bike and can’t wait to take in all the sites…and sip all the wine! – Kelsey Comstock

A Colorado Hidden Gem

I’ve lived in Colorado for a long time, but the state is still full of surprises. Case in point, the Paint Mines Interpretive Park. Located east of Colorado Springs, it’s a geological wonderland, filled with dazzlingly colorful sandstone formations. I can’t wait to explore. – Tyler Wilcox

Ikon Pass

As an avid skier &  Ikon Pass holder, I am thrilled to continue taking advantage of the continued snowfall here in the West in Aspen and Jackson Hole. And when the time comes to hang up the skis for the season, I am eager to clock miles on some of my favorite hiking trails in the San Juan Mountains. – Molly Early

Moab Camping

Ever since my ski instructing days, it’s been a yearly tradition to head to the desert as soon as the ski resorts close for the season. I always look forward to spending a weekend in Moab in late-April exploring the natural arches, ripping around sand berms in an ATV, and sitting around the campfire catching up with great friends (and roasting s’mores – my favorite!). – Lesli Carlson

NYC Cycling

I’ve had cycling across the Williamsburg Bridge on my list for a while, so I’m looking forward to mixing up a few of my weekend commutes once the weather allows and getting a new perspective on my daily views. Here’s hoping the bridge’s iconic pink frame and cruising down the other side will make up for that initial incline! – Kiara McDade

Spring Skiing

It’s spring skiing season in the Rocky Mountains! Sunny days, warm weather and al fresco après are a few of my favorite things. I’m looking forward to an annual backcountry ski hut trip just outside of Aspen with some close friends, where I’ll be enjoying untouched snow and rays of sunshine while completely off the grid. – Caitlin Martz

Boulder + Beer

This spring, I can’t wait to sit back on one of Boulder’s many patios after a good hike up Lion’s Lair. My favorite spot is soaking up the sunshine at Avery Brewing Co. while sipping on a freshly brewed White Rascal! – Kirstin Koszorus
