Where to spend your NYC weekend

Written by Alex Aberman | June 1, 2012
There are few things better than a sunny day in Williamsburg spent at Brooklyn Flea.  Each weekend the Brooklyn waterfront, just south of East River State Park, hosts two flea events to suit anyone’s ‘tastes.’ Saturday’s Smorgasburg is a giant, all-food market while Sunday’s flea market brings in wide array of vintage, antique, handmade and gourmet food vendors. There’s a second Brooklyn Flea location in Fort Greene, which is described as “part vintage bazaar, part hipster hang, part old-fashioned town square, and part food bonanza.” I attended last Sunday, in what’s quickly becoming standard weekend practice, wearing my Cushe Sierra shoes.  They’re so comfortable spending all day on my feet! Each time I visit, I can’t help but think, who can we use to cater our next NYC PR event?
