PRSA Travel & Tourism 2016 Conference: The Greatest Tweets

Written by Nicolette Cusmano | May 27, 2016

Last week, the Public Relations Society of America held their annual travel conference in Houston, Texas. TURNER's Angela Berardino and Laura Pettitt both attended this conference and left with fresh, new insights and business development ideas. During PRSA Houston, #PRSATravel was trending! Here are our favorite tweets from the event (with a little of our own commentary thrown in for good measure):

Attitude is important in the workplace! Negativity can lead to bringing other’s down and an overall toxic work place.

Generating bad ideas is a recipe for disaster and can diminish the overall credibility of an agency or a person.

Ratings are important, especially now since it takes 5 seconds to find out.

Less is sometimes more. Long pitches can get lost in media’s inboxes.   Freelance writers come up some great ideas too!   You have 7 seconds to make a great impression, digital press releases should pop and scream “read me!”   Absolutely!   Although the print industry might be dying, it’s still important and has an extreme impact on today’s world.   Great question. How about both?   Meet in the middle. Don’t go over board!
