Here is a recap of some of the best pieces of media coverage from last week featuring the clients of Turner Public Relations:
- TravelandLeisure.com included Travaasa Hana in this article spotlighting America’s Coolest Summer Cottages. The incredible Sea Ranch Cottages are featured on slide no. 8 with a great description of what kind of amenities travelers can expect when staying in these accommodations. It also includes information on cultural offerings, activities and thoughtful touches that can be experienced during a visit to Travaasa.
- Native was featured for a second time on The TODAY Show this month.
- Both Palladium and Nau were featured on a new CBS morning show, The Couch, in a segment all about eco-friendly fashion for under $100.
- Nau had a pretty big feature in The New York Times Travel section. The New York Times has a circulation of almost 1.6 million.
- Park Hyatt Beaver Creek was covered on the ABC News website. Turner PR worked with freelance journalist, Lena Katz, on story angles that highlight our summer offerings which inspired her for this piece on the Nation’s Most Incredible Ice Cream Treats. The resort’s Samuel Adams American Kriek Beer Floats are featured on slide No. 3. accompanied by a great description of the drink. Lena names this creation “Most Decadent” and shares some of the ingredients with readers. She also mentions the resort’s summer menu and includes one of the images TPR provided.
- Club W’s Unwined event was covered on 303Magazine.com. Booze News editor, Geoff Phillips, included it in their special events section of social happenings taking place in the city and will also be attending the event Saturday evening. He gives readers all of the event details, a link to the site and a great description of what can be expected. He also includes information on Club W’s partnership with First Descents.
- Destination Hotels & Resorts was featured on Thrillist.com. The piece is a direct result of targeted outreach around the Destination Dream list and includes the “Crack a Coors” package from Hotel Telluride. The outlet’s Denver editor, Lee Breslouer, included the adventurous item as the feature story on the men’s lifestyle outlet as well as in the daily E-Newsletter. He gives a great description of the package and an image.
- The Riviera Maya was covered on CNN. This was broadcasted as well as included on their online newsroom. The coverage included: Chichen Itza- Temple of Kukulkan, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Hartwood Tulum, and Maroma Resort
- Both Sandos Resorts and the destination of Riviera Maya in Mexico in Triathlete Magazine. Online, is a video of swimsuit models Nike Matanza, Tara Martine, Kristen Peterson and Branden Rakita at the Sandos Caracol Eco-Resort and Spa in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico. The models took part in the four-day swimsuit shoot at the end of April, and the images were featured in the July issue.
- Estes Park was covered on the USA Today website. The article, which also appeared on the writer’s blog and social channels, features Estes Park about half way down and includes the National Park Gateway Stables and Estes Park Brewery.
- 9 News, the NBC local station in Denver, featured the Yoga Rocks the Park Free Day, sponsored by the newly opened prAna Denver store, on their evening news as well as the station’s website. The coverage highlighted the hundreds of people who showed up to the event for a morning of yoga, more than 500 in total.
