Sugar, spice and lots of nice media coverage that features the clients of Turner Public Relations was published last week. Here are the highlights:
- Four Seasons Resort & Residences Vail was included in the 5280 Magazine winter feature, “Ultimate Winter Getaways”, which lists some of the best places in Colorado (and beyond) to visit this winter. The piece contains a brief description of the resort and its location in “iconic” Vail, as well as the information about the resort’s winter offerings around the outdoor pool, and the Haut Chocolate at the Fireside Lounge.
- Additionally, Four Seasons Resort & Residences Vail gained coverage in a roundup about “ski resort features perfect for couples” on Oyster.com. The spa at the resort is featured as the couple-friendly feature, with a description of the couple’s treatment room and other features of the spa for couples to enjoy.
- Forbes.com recognized Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole and Four Seasons Resort Whistler in a piece about “5 Great North American Heli-Skiing Trips.” The resorts are included as the place to stay in Jackson Hole and Whistler for an incredible ski trip.
- Destination Hotels & Resorts received noteworthy coverage in an article on SuccessfulMeetings.com detailing the “State of the Industry” whitepaper. Journalist, Matt Alderton, positions DH&R as the source for the meeting industry in 2013, linking to the page where the whitepaper can be downloaded. The coverage shares DH&R-generated trend forecasts, methodology and survey results in addition to a full list and description of the six trends.
- Park Hyatt Beaver Creek received recognition for their one-of-a-kind spa, Allegria, in the November print issue of 5280 Magazine. Associate editor, Julie Dugdale, includes a great description of Allegria, as well as information on its recent renovations and signature treatments. The article also mentions that Aqua Sanitas water sanctuary is the spa’s standout amenity, differentiating Allegria from the competition.
- The Brown Palace Hotel was featured in Chris Reynlds’ article, “Great American Unhaunted Hotels”, which was published in the online edition of Los Angeles Times, LATimes.com. The slideshow includes several images and short descriptions detailing the remarkable attributes of the hotel, which appear on slides No. 5, 6 & 7.
- Travaasa Hana, Maui in the November print issue of National Geographic Traveler. The piece is a complete travelers’ guide to Hana sights and activities, recommending readers visit Travaasa for accommodations, the wide variety of programming and the spa.
- Estes Park is included in the SmarterTravel.com story about “10 Amazing Fall Hikes.” The Mills Lake Trail is noted as a stunning trail not to be missed.
