Oh, The Places She’ll Go
The New York Times published its always-eagerly-awaited annual
52 Places To Travel feature last week, sparking new feelings of wanderlust amongst travelers worldwide.
There’s a twist this year, though. Drawing from a pool of more than 13,000 applicants, The Times has hired Jada Yuan as the publication’s very first 52 Places correspondent. The position will “take her to each of the destinations our Travel desk has deemed unmissable in 2018.” Can you say “dream job”? You can follow Jada’s globetrotting adventures this year

Royal Luggage
Jada is going to be living out of her suitcase for the next 12 months – what should she pack? Well,
none other than her royal majesty Queen Elizabeth II has some tips. According to the Insider, the monarch’s bag always contains such indispensable items as pastries (extra clotted cream, of course!), dozens of outfits (as many as 30, just in case!), and her own royal toilet paper. There are a few oddities – like a personal supply of blood matching Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's blood types. We assume this is stowed somewhere other than the royal luggage …
What’s Your Sign?
The New York Times might’ve given you some travel inspiration with its 52 Places to Travel feature. But maybe you’re planning a solo adventure and want to narrow it down even more? OK, Let’s get astrological. Elite Daily has a guide of
where to travel, based on your zodiac sign. Gemini? Explore the friendly, stimulating city of Portland, OR. Leo? Head to Barcelona and dance ‘til dawn. Libra? Get spiritual and trek to Bali. Look to the stars and start planning …
Teleportation Travel
Is the future finally here? Well, not exactly – you can’t “beam” your luggage (a la Star Trek) to any location worldwide. But
the new Luggage Teleport app might be the next best thing, providing on-demand luggage delivery service between airports and hotels, and among hotels in the same metropolitan area so you can enjoy a hassle-free, timesaving travel experience. When you arrive, they’ll meet you at the airport, lock it up, and take it to your hotel – they’ll even send a pic to you showing that it’s arrived safe and sound. When you leave, just leave your bag at the concierge desk and Luggage Teleport will bring it to the departures desk. Luggage-free travel? We’re in.
