This week, our lifestyle team will once again head to Salt Lake City, Utah for Outdoor Retailer, the largest trade show for the outdoor and active industries. With five days of activities, it can be hard to narrow down favorites for your schedule. To assist with planning, our team rounded up a list of must-attend events and panels, as well as top products launching at the show.

Wednesday, August 5, 9:00 AM — Fjallraven D.I.Y. Flower Crown Sessions

Kick off the show and celebrate summer with a D.I.Y. Flower Crown session at the Fjallraven booth (Booth 14013)! Session will also be offered on Thursday morning.

Wednesday, August 5, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM — RANGE Magazine Issue 3 Launch Party

Active lifestyle creative agency RANGE will release its third issue of RANGE Magazine on Day 1 of the show. The “Tunes, Trendz and Friendz” party will take place in the Venture Out section. Come by grab a RANGE flag pin and a complimentary issue!

Thursday, August 6, 10:00 AM – Connecting with the Brand Consumer Audience

Moderated by Scott McGuire, panelists will discuss ways brands connect with their audiences and how new media, events and consumer insights are shaping the process. Bob Carlson, CEO and Founder of Arbor; Devin O’Shea, Co-Founder of Fayetchill; Rob Bingham, PhD, REI sales consultant and founder of Presentation Authority, and Dan Genco, co-founder of Turner client Shwood will participate in the discussion.
