Mountain Clients Announce New Experiential Vacations for Summer

The mountains have always been a hub for summer activity, but this year new experiential vacations are taking guests on unforgettable adventures. From hiking to lunch with a llama to luxury camping on top of a glacier, these experiences are truly unique opportunities for the upscale traveler. Below are a few of the highlights from the mountain properties of Turner PR: Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail’s Backcountry Adventure Program: Four Seasons Vail has joined with Paragon Guides to create a series of custom wilderness adventures to take place throughout the summer. Each different adventure includes transportation, a chef-prepared gourmet picnic lunch and an “après adventure” consisting of drinks and appetizers in the resort’s cozy Fireside Lounge. Guests can chose from any of the adventures below:

Take a Llama to Lunch: Take a simple hike and elevate it with a llama. These fun and personable animals are the perfect hiking companions and will help carry items that were otherwise a hassle, making it easy to have a full picnic lunch with wine on top of a mountain.
Hiking Adventures: As experts of the backcountry, only the Paragon Guides can lead such beautiful and hidden hikes. Guests will experience custom trips full of alpine views, waterfalls, wildflowers and more.
Mountain Biking: Guests of all abilities will be able to explore the heart of the Rockies via bike. The Paragon Guides will supply guests with all the necessary expertise to find the perfect untouched routes.
Rock Climbing: Guests who want to experience the ultimate thrill of a rock climb can join the Paragon Guides at Camp Hale, where they will introduce climbers to the challenge and grace of climbing one of the world’s greatest mountain ranges.

Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler‘s Luxury Summer Adventures : In collaboration with Head-Line Holiday Adventures, Four Seasons Whistler is pairing luxury accommodations with one-of-a-kind experiences. The offerings consist of a series of curated experiences that whisk adventurers from their luxury Whistler residences directly to the heli-port where their exclusive Four Seasons experience will commence. Each adventure begins with an exhilarating flight in an A-star helicopter over the wild Pemberton Ice Cap, British Columbia’s largest Ice field, and includes expert guidance from Head-Line’s experienced staff.

Four Seasons Yoga & Hot Springs: In this adventure guests will experience the comforts of a natural thermal hot spring in British Columbia’s wild backcountry. Participants will be greeted by a master yoga instructor and Four Seasons Spa therapist, who will lead them in soothing exercises in the warm waters of the natural bath. After yoga, the Four Seasons’ Chef-de-Cuisine will provide poolside gourmet meals. Completing the Four Seasons experience, guests will enjoy a private guided ice cave tour before returning to the resort.
Four Seasons Heli Ice Cap Explore: Guests will explore the vast ice caves in the resort’s specialty vehicles. Head-Line adventures will customize the experience by offering a range of mountain sports on the glacier including speed flying, sled-skiing, skeet-shooting, heli-glacier rafting and more. The adventure ends with a mouthwatering Four Seasons gourmet meal in the natural hot springs.
Four Seasons Overnight Encampment: Having the advantage of staying day and night, guests will experience varied activities from roaming the ice caps in ice-equipped SUV’s to peering through deep space telescopes at night. The Four Seasons encampment will include all the luxuries of a traditional hotel experience, with fine down linens, pre-warmed beds, a gourmet meal and a jaw-dropping view of the world below, followed by a natural thermal spa experience the next morning. Any aspect of the adventure can be personally tailored, from fire story tellers to yoga instructors and more.
Four Seasons Heli-Snowmobile Adventures: This adventure allows guests to experience the Pemberton Ice Cap, British Columbia’s southernmost ice field. Helicopters will drop adventurers off at a base facility where snowmobiles and custom vehicles await. From there, Head-Line’s expert guides will teach travelers about the spectacular terrain as they race through the frozen backcountry.

Pros in Motion: Viceroy Snowmass has partnered with the elite mountain biking tour company, Pros in Motion, to offer guests customized guided road and mountain biking excursions. Guests will benefit from private coaching and training from some of the most accomplished professional cyclists from around the world.
