The Hoxton, Williamsburg has opened its doors. The much anticipated Brooklyn hotel is located on the site of the former Rosenwach factory, the maker of the iconic wooden water towers that scatter the New York skyline. The hotel offers 175 rooms, three restaurants, a rooftop with incredible views of Manhattan. Even more, the hotel is right in the core of Williamsburg, a real melting pot of culture, where you’ve got record stores, indie boutiques, great food, buzzing bars, and a creative crowd to match.
Cosy, Cosy with a View, and Roomy
The bedrooms, designed by Ennismore Design Studio, are spread across three categories: Cosy, Cosy with a View, and Roomy. Choose from the Brooklyn view or the iconic Manhattan skyline. Brass details feature throughout, in contrast to raw concrete ceilings. Local ceramics are on the shelves. Books are curated by local residents as part of the Hox Friends program (see below). Brooklyn designer Dusen Dusen created bespoke bed linen. Additionally, each and every room comes with the usual Hox perks: free water, WiFi and one hour of free calls to anywhere in the world. There's also a mini fridge for you to stock from our reception shop with local products at supermarket prices. Finally, there's a daily "emergency" breakfast bag delivered to your door.
Hoxton Friends
“Hox Friends” brings bring the outside in, connecting guests to locals. The Hoxton, Williamsburg recruited 175 "Hox Friends." These Brooklyn residents encompass small business owners, artists, influencers and artisans. Each local was paired with a different room to share their top 10 hand-picked reads.
Wine & Dine
The hotel boasts three F&B spaces. Each was created in partnership with Brightside Hospitality, a collaboration between Brooklyn restauranteurs Jud Mongell of Five Leaves and Zeb Stewart of Cafe Colette, Union Pool and Hotel Delmano.
- Klein’s offers Americana-inspired classics throughout the lobby and brasserie style restaurant from morning ‘til late. A stunning French Molteni cooking suite and wood-fired grill located sets the scene in the reconstructed carriage house.
- Backyard, the outdoor mezzanine restaurant is slightly more relaxed. Think chips and dips, huge sandwiches, pitchers of cocktails and ping pong tables.
- Last but not least, there's Summerly. This seasonal restaurant is located on The Hoxton’s first rooftop, offering unbeatable views of that Manhattan skyline.
A Gathering Place
