The Stanley Hotel — Estes Park, Colorado

Famously, The Stanley Hotel served as the inspiration behind Stephen King’s horror classic The Shining. On a “Night Spirit” tour, you can discover spirit folklore surrounding this gorgeous, 100+ year old hotel. And Shining fanatics, take note: This year, the Shining Ball (October 20) features immersive theater characters from The Shining, an upper level three-DJ silent disco in “Jack’s Attic”, a 1920s themed jazz lounge on the lower floor and late night dancing. Fairmont Banff Springs – Alberta, Canada

Fairmont Banff Springs is one of Alberta’s most famous and beautiful hotels. Even more, it's one of Alberta’s most haunted spots. The hotel has actually sealed off Room 873, thanks to an array of bone-chilling happenings. What's more, the staff will tell you stories of the ghost bellman and a phantom bride, both of whom still linger at the hotel.

The Town of St. George — Bermuda

There’s history around every corner in Bermuda’s Town of St. George. Settled in 1612, St. George’s is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest continuously inhabited settlement of the New World. So there’s got to be more than a few ghosts there! On a Haunted History Tour, you’ll wander through narrow alleys and cobblestone streets, encountering some of the town’s spirits (local actors in ghostly costumes).
