Endless Summer in Bermuda
Home to pink sand beaches and incomparable weather, Bermuda is helping visitors extend their stay this summer with the new “Endless Summer” offer....
Last Thursday's team building shenanigans at Ignite Denver were nothing short of boozy, entertaining and at times, kind of awkward thanks to Reid Fenlaw and his Stanford statistics. Although, I can't say we weren't warned:
Ignite Denver is a fun, fast-paced event where anyone can get up on stage and speak about pretty much anything for five minutes. Each presentation is accompanied by 20 slides that advance every 15 seconds, and last week's lineup covered everything from strange changes in the kindergarten curriculum to important tips on how to raise a F*ing lady -- a TPR crowd favorite, no doubt.
From bangra dancing to free T-shirt swag, here are a few other highlights from Ignite Denver:
"If there’s ever a topic or fact that piques my interest, you can count on it being environment (or health) related. So, it’s no surprise that I loved Kia M. Ruiz’s presentation on consumerism and our right to know. Which is also why I loved it when Chris Jones said, "Cities are better for the environments. Not suburbs. Cities." " - Brit Tucker, Sr. Account Supervisor – Digital
"While there were some great presentations, I want to give props to Jared Ewy, the MC and unsung hero. As the through line of the event, his cheeky humor and lively jabber kept the crowd engaged, erasing any awkwardness that might have existed between speakers." - Whitt Kelly, Account Coordinator – PR
"For me the Maureen McNamara presentation about the “joy thief” was spectacular and completely insightful. She spoke to how “comparison is the thief of joy” and to overcome, we have to stop comparing ourselves to others, be grateful for what we have, and live in the moment (and find joy in each moment)." - April Ingle, Assistant Account Executive – PR
"As an Ignite veteran, let me tell you that the third time really is a charm. These were by far some of the best speakers I’ve seen at Ignite – all were completely engaging and ignited some serious sparks in the crowd. I especially appreciated how they unapologetically threw in a comedian (see Reid Fenlaw shoutout above…), and I’m quite certain that Heather Curnett’s assertion ‘Mr. Rogers says it, so it simply is so,” is one of the most accurate statements. Ever." - Ashley Taufen, Sr. Account Executive – PR
The obvious part is that the TPR crew will be back for the next Ignite Denver. The unknown part is what crazy shenanigans will ensue thanks to any of the Ignite speakers.
