Art Basel may bring in throngs of celebrities to South Beach every December. But there’s another "South" destination in Florida that recharges annually for its own glittery contemporary arts festival. Say hello to South Walton's Digital Graffiti Festival — the world's first outdoor projected art festival.
An Art Festival Like No Other
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-RF7e0vdks Alys Beach, a tony enclave of white buildings (both public and private), will bring back the acclaimed
Digital Graffiti Festival, May 17-18. The juried event takes place during
Art Month South Walton and brings in local and international artists, designers, photographers and architects. During Digital Graffiti, each of these creative minds project their work under the night sky onto the pristine, reflective white walls of the community. During both evenings of the festival, the town is illuminated with stunning examples of projection mapping, generative art, experimental short films and animation, and sound, motion, and light responsive installations.
Additionally, the event includes an all-inclusive food and drink experience along the festival’s path. Attendees will enjoy samples from local and regional chefs, winemakers, distillers, and breweries. The evening culminates with desserts, spirits, and casual discussions of art around the pool at Caliza Restaurant, which will showcase additional artwork. Check out the full schedule
