Bombas Donates Its Millionth Pair - TURNER

Written by Huilian Anderson | October 3, 2016

TURNER loves working with clients who give back in both big and small ways. As of last month, we can safely slot Bombas in the “big” category. The sock maker just announced that it had reached its millionth pair donation milestone.

It’s all part of Bombas’ innovative One Pair Bought = One Pair Donated program, which brings the brand’s socks to homeless shelters across the U.S., where socks are the number one most requested clothing item. And these aren’t merely the same socks Bombas sells in stores and online – they’re thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of those who are homeless. Bombas co-founders Dave Heath and Randy Goldberg thought the millionth pair milestone would take at least a decade to achieve … but it only took 2.5 years. It’s a true testament to the power of Bombas’ mission.

This obviously calls for a celebration – and maybe something a little more permanent. Dave Heath promised that if/when they reached one million pairs, he would get a tattoo of the Bombas logo on his arm. Did Dave follow through? You can watch it for yourself below.
